Activities
We provide a range of planned and unplanned activities and resources to enable children to investigate and explore both inside and outside. The Badgers enjoy growing vegetables, playing in the mud kitchen and building with large construction. They also enjoy art activities, feeding the horses and losing themselves in role play and small world activities. Through play children develop to their full potential and leave nursery ‘engaged little learners’ ready for school.The Badgers also enjoy trips to the garden center, the library and to Knaresborough during the Feva festival. Each year we plan a day out for the Badgers leaving for school. We have previously been to the Railway Museum, Meanwood Valley Farm and Tropical World.What's for lunch?

Badgers Room SupervisorMy name is Tyla and I joined the Red Kite team in January 2019. I am a qualified level 3 nursery practitioner. I have worked with children since 2011 both in a nursery setting and as a Nanny. I like to work with all age groups and like to see how my involvement with the children can help them learn, however I especially like working in Badgers.
