I am Katy. I have worked in nursery since 2007 working my way up the nursery ladder. I was the Deputy Manager and Pre-school teacher for over 6 years. I took the opportunity to purchase the nursery in 2014 as I believed so strongly in the setting and was very excited to be able to be more involved and to extend and develop the nursery alongside my Red Kite team.

Hi, my name is Lauren. I joined the Red Kite Team in April 2022 as the Nursery Manager. I have worked in childcare for many years gaining experience and knowledge. I am a qualified level 5 practitioner so I have an in depth knowledge and understanding. I really enjoy working within a team and I’m really excited to be part of Red Kite. I am also the SENDco.

Hi I am Tanya, I have worked in the nursery since 2000. I used to work in the baby room as the room supervisor before becoming the Deputy Manager. I have two boys who are now at school. They have both enjoyed the nursery which prepared them for ‘big school’. Having the boys at nursery has given me a personal insight into the feelings and needs of both parents and children on settling into the nursery environment.

My name is Sophie. I have taken on the role as the Room Supervisor in Hedgehogs. I love looking after all the babies, helping them settle and making sure their time with me is as fun as possible. I love setting all kinds of activities that allows them to learn through exploration and play.

My name is Suzy, I have been in childcare for a long time. I joined the team in 2013 and  I feel I am a vital part of the Red Kite family. I was the Senior Level 3 practitioner and would lead each of the rooms in absence of the room supervisors. I then progressed to be a room supervisor myself and I look after the Squirrels. I enjoy working in nursery and it allows me to engage with both children, parents and the nursery staff team.

My name is Tyla and I joined the Red Kite team in January 2019. I am a qualified level 3 nursery practitioner. I have worked with children since 2011 both in a nursery setting and as a Nanny. I like to work with all age groups and like to see how my involvement with the children can help them learn, however I especially like working in Badgers. I get to help them learn and develop and get ready for going to school. In Badgers we love to do all things arty and we are always doing new activities.

My name is Katie and I passed my Level 3 in childcare in 2017. I like working all through nursery as I see all the children at different ages and stages of development. Each day the children make me smile and I enjoy looking after them. I have now taken on the role of senior level 3 working in Squirrels full time and taking the lead in the room supervisors absent.

My name is Nicola. I joined Red Kite in 2018 and completed my apprenticeship as a Level 3 practitioner. I wanted a career in childcare after dedicating my life to looking after my children and grandchild. I love working in all the rooms, looking after the children each day.  I’m always excited to see what new things the children will do.

My name is Olivia. I joined Red Kite in 2022 and have just completed my level 2 qualification. I really enjoyed it and love watching the children learn new things. I have learnt a lot so far and love implementing what i’ve learnt on a daily basis. My favourite thing to do with the children is messy play and I already have lots more exciting ideas to come. I can’t wait to get my level 3 completed!
